During her career, she won 18 titles at Grand Slam singles tournaments, including 7 at Roland Garros and 6 at the US Open. Among her achievements there are also 3 wins in doubles at Grand Slam tournaments. In the book “The Greatest Matches of the XX Century”, Steve Flink called Evert the third female tennis player of the 20th century after Steffi Graf and Martina Navratilova.
